Disease and injury-free loquat (maturity 70% to 80%) were picked Guiyang,  Guizhou Province, China.
Loquat treated by CK (0Gy), 1μL/L 1-MCP (1-methylcyclopropene) fumigation, 1500Gy, 1μ/L1-MCP fumigation +1500Gy. Irradiation treatment with 60 Co-γ static irradiation source (Irradiation Center of Guizhou Academy of gricultural Sciences).
After irradiation the fruits were stored stored in MAP for 40 d at 6±0.5 °C, and decay index, lignin, hardness, respiration intensity, ethylene production rate, relative conductivity,  TA, TSS, PAL, LOX, PPO, POD were measured periodically.

204896318U) and  stored at 4±0.5°C and 80%~90% RH for 70d, nutritional and chemical profiles were tested every 10 d.
Fresh boxes and dose irradiation by 1000 Gy treatment can significantly reduce the total number of colonies on the surface of the fruit, and no signifcant hardness, color, oxidation resistance. Dose irradiation treatment by 2000 Gy accelerates fruit senescence and quality deterioration;

After irradiation the fruits were stored stored at 4 °C for 20 d , physiological quality attributes and pericarp ultrastructure were regularly assayed during storage.
750 Gy irradiation significantly delayed the decline of marketable fruit percentage, inhibited the loss of fruit mass, maintained better textural characteristics, promoted anthocyanin synthesis, effectively inhibited the decline of peroxidase (POD) and superoxide dismutase (SOD) activities, but they had little effect on soluble solids content, and even increased malondialdehyde content.

The effects of different irradiation treatments on the microbial quantity and the quality of winter jujube were investigated during cold storage.  Decay rate, respiration intensity, firmness, colour, and soluble solids were evaluated at 0d, 7d, 14d, 24d, 34d, 44d, 54 d.
Irradiation treatments could effectively inhibit the increase of decay rate of winter jujube and the growth of microorganism, but irradiation treatment reduced the firmness of winter jujube.
